Homemade Play-do

Another one from Sarah.

I know that this is not a food item, but for everyone who has any involvement with kids, this recipe is a must! We had six in my family growing up, so we were always making this stuff. It is much cheaper then the store bought and you get to make your own colors!

2 cups flour
2 cups water
1/2 cup salt
3 tablespoons cream of tartar
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
Food coloring (assorted colors)

Mix all together in pot and cook until it forms a ball.

Take out of pot and knead it for a bit on your kitchen counter until it feels like play do.

Divide into separate piles and add desired colors.
