Christmas Bark

This looks like a simple & cheap treat to make. And most of us already have this stuff in our cabinets.

1 sleeve of saltine crackers
1 cup butter
1/2 cup light brown sugar
12oz. semisweet chocolate morsels
1 cup pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Place cracker in one layer on parchment lined baking sheet (with sides).
Melt butter & brown sugar in a medium saucepan. Cook for 3 min, stirring constantly.
Pour butter-sugar mixture over crackers. Spread evenly.
Bake for 15 min.
Remove from oven & sprinkle with chocolate morsels. When they start to melt, spread evenly over entire layer of crackers.
Sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
Refridgerate 1 hour.
Remove from refridgerator & crack into pieces.
