Olive Garden Alfredo Dipping Sauce

Jamie sent in this one too.

One of my favorite things at the Olive Garden is the
dipping sauce you can get for their breadsticks. I
L-O-V-E this stuff! So I looked up a copy cat recipe
on-line. This is pretty darn close.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
2 cups heavy cream
1/8 tsp minced garlic
1/2 cup butter
1/8 tsp pepper
1/4-1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
Add all ingredients in medium sauce pan. Let simmer
12 minutes.
**I added about 2 tbsp cream cheese as well.
Tried this recipe for thanksgiving and it was the best! Really impressed the family. We decided to double the recipe and add a bit more cream cheese and it was delish! Thanks for the recipe.
Did you know that Olive Garden posts a lot of their recipes on their website. Im going to try your version of the Alfredo sauce tonight. I just thought you may like to try theirs and see what you like more or see what you can come up with between the two bc each is very different.
To Anonymous, regarding the OG website recipes.
Yes, they are different. That is because the recipe on OG's website is for the alfredo pasta sauce. This recipe is for the breadstick dipping sauce.
