Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

Here's a Jamie recipe!

This is Hank's all-time favorite dessert. His mom
used to make it for him and his sisters on special
occassions. Now, it's a fun recipe for the boys and I
to make Daddy when he has had a bad day, when it's a
special occassion, or just because!

1 stick butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. cocoa
2 c. sugar
3 c. oatmeal

Mix in sauce pan butter, vanilla, milk, cocoa and
sugar. Continuously stir and bring to a rolling boil.
Let boil for 2 1/2 minutes. Pour in oats and mix.
Spoon cookies onto foil and let firm up.
