Cube Steak "French Dip" Sandwiches

This recipe comes from Sarah.

I found this recipe online a while ago. It is super easy.


4 cube steaks
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1 loaf French bread

Season cube steaks to taste and brown in a Pam sprayed skillet. Add 2 cups of water and package of onion soup mix. Simmer at least one hour until meat is tender.
A few minutes before serving I like to add some freshly sliced onion and heat until it is tender.

Cut bread into 4 servings. Slice and add meat and onions to make a sandwich. Put gravy into a small bowl at the side of each serving and "dip" and enjoy.
