Cream Cheese Squares

Jamie just sent in this recipe.

I tried these out just this week! Love them! So good
with coffee at breakfast or as a dessert.

Prep Time: 15 min.
Total Time: 40 min.
Servings: Approx 24

2 cans (8 oz) crescent rolls
2 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg, slightly beaten
3/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp ground cinnamon

1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Unroll 1 can of crescent roll dough and press onto
bottom of greased 13 x 9 baking pan to form crust.
Make sure to firmly press seals together.
3. Beat cream cheese, vanilla, egg and 1/2 cup sugar
with electric mixer on medium until well blended and
spread onto crust.
4. Unroll remaining can of crescent dough onto large
sheet of wax paper. Pat out dough to form 13 x 9
rectangle, pressing seams together to seal. Invert
over cream cheese mix to form top crust. Discard wax
paper.
5. Bake 30-35 min or until golden brown. Combine
remaining 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon in small bowl and
sprinkle over top before cutting.
