Grandmother Bynum's Peanut Butter Cake

Kellie said they eat this every Christmas, this is also her Grandmother's recipe. And it must eat with a huge glass of milk!!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/4 of 18oz creamy peanut butter
Mix as directed on cake mix box. Add peanut butter and beat well. Pour into 2 round cake pans.
Bake at 350 for the time allotted on the box.
When it cools cut each in half to make 4 layers
Icing:
The rest of the peanut butter
pinch of salt
2c. sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
3/4 c milk
Boil sugar and milk for 1 minute. Turn off heat. Add peanut butter, vanilla, and salt. Beat until it begins to thicken. DO NOT let it get too cool or it will set up like fudge. And you won't be able to frost the cake. Spread between layers, sides and top.
